The staff are very polite and helpful. Breakfast is good and satisfying. The surrounding area is beautiful. We rented the hotel bicycles for 25rmb per hour and we really had fun going around. However, considering its location and lack of ameneties, the hotel is quite expensive for the price of more than a thousand a night. You won't feel the five-star hotel vibe but rather just a regular Chinese hotel.

The landmark building is very grand. I booked this hotel because it is cost-effective, especially during the May Day holiday. I upgraded the suite with Ctrip points and was quite satisfied. It would be better if the breakfast variety was richer.

The hotel is located in the Yanqi Lake Convention and Exhibition Center. It is quite distinctive. The rooms are simply decorated, clean and sanitary, with complete and convenient facilities. There are ample parking spaces. The hotel is very close to the Yanqi Lake West Mountain Trail and the railway station.
